    A good friend of mine is in Canada right now. She’s staying in a place called Canmore, which she was told comes from... Ceann Mór! 😍😍😍 It makes sense as it’s a mountainous region (ceann mór - big head). Have you ever come across Irish / Celtic place names abroad? 🗺

        Dunedin came from Dùn Èideann, the Scots Gaelic name for Edinburgh. Wiki: "The Lay Association of the Free Church of Scotland, through a company called the Otago Association, founded Dunedin at the head of Otago Harbour in 1848 as the principal town of its special settlement."
