Babies do not belong at the office. Why can’t she get a nanny like every other working mother?

She's not bringing her baby to the Senate floor daily. This is about her not wanting to miss critical duties of her job, like voting, since Senators cannot vote remotely.
-
And again. The rest of working women, like myself, do not bring our babies to work. If she cant leave child with nanny for her job - perhaps she shd find a job she can do from home. And before you argue breastfeeding - working women pump.
-
Actually, more companies are now offering onsite childcare as a benefit to their associates. They realize that the people working for them are just that... people. with lives. Not sure why this upsets you so much. We should be rooting for

Onsite. Not at actual place anyone works. And it irritates me that Senators get special treatment that the rest of working woman do not. And - children do not belong in the workplace.
-
I think we should do every thing we can to encourage women to serve in government. Also in the corporate world. The times they are a-changing.
-
Fine. Pay them enough to hire a nanny. And I do believe Senators make more than the average person.
-
Why are you so afraid of babies?
