I did a 2 hr harassment training w/ all of my 30+ employees in January. It was uncomfortable, but it was effective and they appreciated it.
-
They know I will not tolerate harassment from our vendors, from our customers or internally, whether sexual, racial, religious, gender, etc.
-
They learned what’s considered inappropriate & know they can come to me, their boss, & I’ll handle situation immediately before it escalates
-
...instead of feeling traumatized for wks b/f saying something. It’s important to give employees these tools & know that you’ll investigate.

We have to do idiotic training at my job. Most people are decent & don't need "training." If you're a harasser, training won't fix you.
