I have pretty much been keeping most of my FFXIV art on my game account, but I do insist y'all look at this. Here's a WIP and one of the pens I used. The gold was done with a miniature-painting brush and toothpicks. I am very determined and powerful. 🌟

I personally find it kind of fun being non-binary and getting addressed as the opposite binary thing I was originally assigned by a stranger because it's like. Still wrong but more fun wrong? A feeling of "ah good I've successfully transed the gender." 🏳️‍⚧️

I do wonder sometimes about the phenomenon I've repeatedly seen where if I'm not posting for a bit, I get a bunch of new followers, but as soon as I resume posting, I lose a bunch? But art & bugs will get back up to speed soon, I'm just recharging before diving into the year. 🐛

Especially when it's traditional art. Just me and my teeny tiny thin microliners, my face inches from the paper, music to push me on. There's something spiritual to me about it; I prefer not to be watched, but to conduct my rituals in secret. ✨🔮🖋

I don't miss streaming, honestly. Everyone works differently & it's great for some folks! But the longer I do this, the more I realize I do best with the performance part of it separate from the actual creating. Come to my table for the show; the art-making is me and the piece.

It's generally recommended to get an eye exam every 2-3 years (unless your eye doctor recommends more often for your specific situation). I went a while without one after moving here and my prescription hadn't changed in a while either, but eventually time caught up with me!

Like I'm about to turn 33 in a few weeks. I am currently still wearing a pair I got in high school. They lasted me a super long time but my 30s decided to come for my eyeballs or something I guess (also the lenses and frame are beat to hell after all that time). Was very overdue.
