BBC America, with coverage of Queen Elizabeth's funeral ending, put up a title screen saying "we now join our regular programming, already in progress" and went straight from a 7 hour ceremony straight into Star Trek: The Next Generation. Bam!

My sympathies to any PR person trying to pitch a story today... FWIW, if you haven't heard: Sapporo USA is acquiring . I was starting to write that at 10:10 a.m. ET, but ... well... (gestures around wildly).
