polydactyl cats are awesome! we had one at our shelter recently that had not one, not two, but THREE extra fingers on each front paw. she was, of course, named thumbelina. (she's been adopted!!)

Max is small but mighty! He is absolutely filled to the brim with energy. Staff sometimes get him confused with a bunny rabbit with how high he jumps off the ground! Max would do best with a family who can match his high energy.

The refuge will be closed for Easter! We will be open for regular adoption hours on Tuesday, April 11th from 12pm to 5pm.

This little cutie is Chowder. She is only a few weeks old, but arrived at the shelter without a mother.
Since she doesn't have a mom, we have to feed her kitten formula. We are asking for donations of formula on our kitten registry here: a.co/fLhigvC
