4/ Nah, just ~10-12", with a strip of "dig no further, greedy dwarves, lest you unleash something grave" tape strip buried a few inches above it. Yes, blow out w compressed air (tho PEX can handle freezing if worst happens).https://twitter.com/DavidKMagnus/status/996442438519570432 …

7/ Interesting question. I guess the idea is that you get effectively twice the cross sectional area of pipe? In my case, no. Most runs are just going to stalls 20' away. Other runs are going hundreds of feet to orchards, etc. Don't want to buy and bury 2x the PEX. https://twitter.com/k_d_payne/status/996489624263458817 …

Yes, have considered this. Intend to do so in "road pasture" and maybe "cross pasture". Even have some IBC totes on hand. Do NOT intend to do so for things closer to the barn. PEX isn't that expensive, and it'll be nice to not have to refill cisterns.https://twitter.com/BornProblematic/status/996494203986284547 …

9/ The entire system will be disconnected around 15 Nov and drained. It will not operate when freezing weather is possible. https://twitter.com/Cloudswrest/status/996502138787262465 …
