Took a chainsaw to a tree I cut down the other day to excise a crook from it...then carved a ladle. Partway done...pic.twitter.com/eU2VjtAW2K

3/ Got disgusted with woodworking and moved over to printmaking. Pulled the first print from the Kluge! Inking is uneven and light...pic.twitter.com/jRKWwxxdNu
5/ There was some trickiness involved. Linoblocks are 0.890" thick, but presses are set up for type, which is 0.918" thick, so I had to cut some thin cardboard to size, spray w adhesive, and make linoblock 0.922" thick. A bit oversize, but works great!
6/ Also figured out how to adjust the paper hold-down clamps, engage the ink plate rotation system, and a few other things. Onward!
7/ (...and by "onward", I mean time to carve the bookplate and try to set type and a linoblock in the same chase. )
3D printer to repair it?
