7/ Given that the book is already 216 pages, I can't imagine that I won't hit 400 pages by the time I'm done (and maybe 600). ...and that's without the hundreds of illustrations I intend to add. ...and the essays. Hmm.

18/ Good day. today: 7,320 words (29 pp) total: 91,992 words (367 pp) Lots of info on maple syrup evaporators, sugar shacks, taps, birch trees, BTU content of propane vs wood, and more. That ends the 4 week spring on this book. On to Aristillus on Monday morning.pic.twitter.com/ePwMPPA9zO

You wrote 4k more words in your book than I did in mine. I also didn't berate/train any farmhands this month. I also made no maple syrup this season. Pocket the 4k and keep driving on. If you hadn't "shot for the stars" w/ goals, you probably wouldn't have hit 4k "moon" today.

You should write a book on Small Claims Court next.

I'm fascinated by how you're blurring the line between a how-to book and a memoir.

I'm incredibly conflicted about writing. There's no money in it...at least the way I'm doing it. Others seem to have more success. Somehow think I should continue, but not sure why. Figure I'll take a few stabs at it and then evaluate. Hopefully I won't bleed out before then.
