3/ I'm rebooting my process from a few years back, where I have three drawers for chains in my shop. * known good * known dull * presumed F-ed My half of the process is to sharpen and move things from drawer 2 -> 1 Farmhands pull from 1, put in 2 or 3.

4/ I can pull things from 3 and either push out rivets, replace defects, respin a new rivet, sharpen, etc. Or, perhaps a more Morlock-style plan... buy a 5 ton power hammer and make damascus knives by forge welding old chainsaw chains together.
