So serious question: what is the appropriate response to men who believe they're entitled to sex without consent & celebrate a spree killer who killed women for revenge as their hero? Because I've gone with "terror" since Elliot Rodger & am no less terrified now.

I'm happy to engage in this conversation, bc I know you'll debate in good faith, you'll accept that I'm debating in good faith, etc., etc. So, srs question: what is the appropriate response to people who think that they're entitled to food or welfare benefits without consent?

I am a Catholic...but also an ancap. I think that it's my duty to donate to charity. ...but I also think that that's a duty that lies on me, not a right to be fed and clothed at my expense that is inherent in the recipient.

As an ancap, I think that anyone who demands welfare, advocates for a UBI, etc. and proposes to use the state to expropriate those resources from me using the one tool that the state has (the monopoly on violence) is a terrorist, in a literal sense.

The next step in the conversation is to debate to what degree people who want welfare or other benefits are really building that whole argument - are they explicitly condoning / requesting violence to get what they want, or are they just hung up in the local experience of misery?

If a hungry person says "I haven't eaten in 3 days, GIVE ME SOME FOOD" that is not necessarily a threat to steal (though it may be). If an incel says "I haven't had sex in 14 years, GIVE ME SOME SEX", same.

regarding sex not being a biological requirement to survive: I AGREE. I think that celibacy is acceptable, and in fact desirable in many circumstances. In this I am out of step with the modern left which promotes it to a necessity in much of their discourse.

"you do roast recipients of benefits" - not much, I think. Certainly not the deserving poor. I am most angry at the white collar recipients - Boeing engineers and stockholders, social workers doing some harm and little good, university professors, etc.

I don't roast inc3ls at all: I want them not to notice me. I am deeply terrified of their goals, their subculture & their characterization of women.

"their goals" From what I can tell, most of them have the goal of having a girlfriend some day. This is a really good essay, btw, from a left-of-center viewpoint http://slatestarcodex.com/2014/08/31/radicalizing-the-romanceless/ …
