I'm happy to engage in this conversation, bc I know you'll debate in good faith, you'll accept that I'm debating in good faith, etc., etc. So, srs question: what is the appropriate response to people who think that they're entitled to food or welfare benefits without consent?
I am a Catholic...but also an ancap. I think that it's my duty to donate to charity. ...but I also think that that's a duty that lies on me, not a right to be fed and clothed at my expense that is inherent in the recipient.
As an ancap, I think that anyone who demands welfare, advocates for a UBI, etc. and proposes to use the state to expropriate those resources from me using the one tool that the state has (the monopoly on violence) is a terrorist, in a literal sense.
