1/ welp, that was odd You know how I sort of fired Old Lead Farm Hand, and promoted New Lead Farm Hand? Today was his first day. Went a bit slow - had to get him up to speed on tractor, 3ph, chainsaw, chainsaw sharpening, etc. He refused to take any pay. REFUSED.

Dude is generous to a fault, and really really likes us, really really likes the work here, thinks we've been far better to him than many other people in his life, and wants to do expensive signalling that he's loyal and will not treat us poorly.
