5/ topics farming book (BAP !) touches on so far: wells pumps filters oil heat propane heat wood heat boilers stacking firewood tarps tractors (cat 1 vs 2 vs 3, front end loaders, front end loader accessories such as bucket forks, debris forks, root rippers) logging chains
6/ it just goes on and on and on and on There is SO DAMNED MUCH I've been forced (by some a-hole named "me") to learn over the last four years. When I started this I was hoping I could hit 30,000 words for a nice pamphlet. Now I'm hoping to keep it to one volume.
7/ Hit about 11,000 words (~44 pages). Fried. Back at it tomorrow!
8/ Hit 17,000 words (68 pages) in the farm book. Woof! The information just spills out, hour after hour. I've got opinions on: log splitters, disc harrows, chainsaw chaps, felling wedges, splitting wedges, fence post pounders, PTO shafts and how to trim them, grease guns...

Indeed. Took me 40 years to find her, but ... Today after work while I was cooking pasta sauce from our own ground pork, she was put pruning the vineyard.
