There is a distinction between what is moral and what we tolerate.
I find drug use immoral - but I want freedom so others can do it.
Sex work? Same.
Polyamory? Same.
R.E.Lee Day? Same.
Monoculture is worse than tolerating mistakes.
This is what
freedom
looks like

*puts on his horns & lawyer suit* I'm my own advocate. What about abortion? If you find it immoral as well, why are there those on 'your side' who want to remove the freedom of others doing it?

there is a spectrum of bad behavior at one end we have things bad for your soul (or so I assert). At the other end we have things that are actively harming other entities as we speak. It's a judgement call where you draw the line - and there are type I and II errors. >>>

someone drinks too much? 100% not my problem. someone is beating a dog with a baseball bat right in front of me? 100% I'm getting involved. >>>

abortion is, IMO, killing a person. I've got a strong opinion. ...and I respect vegetarians who feel the same way about cows being slaughtered.

Have no fear, I doubt we will solve this or change each others minds so that isn't even on my radar. I like to find the common points where we agree on things that could stop the path to the touchy things.

You come from a strong sense of self & freedom, you understand your actions lead to outcomes. Do you think society needs to "man up" in explaining to teens that even 'dipping' can make you a parent before you are ready?

society? Not sure what that means. But parents / neighbors / etc. ? Yes. Kids are humans, but they are young and unwise. They need advice & teaching.

Society that other horrible thing we get together & do to ourselves(see also Congress). Parents have abdicated their roles to appease the 'shamans' of the moment who claim their path is the only true path.
