in general i'm not sure what to make of my own high school experience. I don't think i can say any of it was particularly horrible, but very little of it was actually enjoyable, and a lot of it was bland and kind of alienating

I enjoyed high school, had lots of friends, but I didn't learn much. I spent the last third of senior year in in-school suspension on a bum hacking charge.

I hated middle school, thought HS was boring, but fine, was conflicted over college. Politically, I was confused in HS ("Bright", but with Heinlein patriotism), then went R in college, then watched the USG burn people alive at Waco live on TV and went hard libertarian / ancap.
