My county wouldn't even approve a half cent sales tax to repair school buildings - where is the money coming from to arm teachers?
so let's discuss that same teacher, on a weekend, at a bakery. A gunman starts shooting, the teacher pulls her gun from her purse and fires back, incapacitating the shooter. What protocols do responding officers use to not shoot the teacher at the bakery?

your answer may be "yes, this is why the teacher should ALSO not be allowed to own a gun at the bakery, or at the super market, or in her home". If you want full gun confiscation, that's one thing. ...but if you allow SOME gun ownership, how do schools differ from bakeries?

Bakery owners didn't choose a profession that gives them power over children and access such that "bakery owner" is a special class in child sexual abuse statutes. I'm more worried about what teachers will do with arms in classrooms than mass shooters bc of prevalence of abuse.

Their own protocols. Friend, have you ever worked in a school? Do you know how much procedure there is for absolutely everything?? This is a public institution that people send their children to. There has to be guidelines.

this does not seem responsive anyway, thanks for engaging; always better to chat across a divide than yell.
