      10/ I think the damages cap in small claims court was around $2k at that time. So I asked for $2k. The court challenged it, asking "what basis?" I said "I'm a professional writer; this is what licensing fees cost." They shrugged, told Hasbro to pay me $2k. Hasbro did.
