Am I the only one annoyed at recipes that call for "chili powder" or "curry powder" as if it were a standardized thing 1/2 tsp coriander 1/4 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp some spices, whatever

as far as I can tell, vendors offer "sweet", "smoked" and "half sharp", but NOT "sharp" O_O

Actually, in this case it's specified as "hot smoked" paprika. ... which I don't have on hand, so I'm using just plain smoked paprika, and boosting hot w/ cayenne if needed.
