Fix tractor fuel filter with work gloves, get diesel on them. Put on work gloves to load wood boiler: hands smell like diesel. Lift a glass of Laphroaig: Laphroaig smells like diesel. ... (I mean, more than usual)

How often do you load that thing? It looks impressive. By the time I get round to central heating for us the kids will have all left home.

Every 12 hrs. Roughly 8am / 8pm. We burn about 3/4 cord per week (96 ft^2 ~= 3 m^3 ?) for a large (5,000 ft^2 = 200 m^2 ? ) house, or about 17 cords per winter.
