I'm starting to think my best bet for a guitar is: a) Start with the /cheapest/ one at the pawn shop until I've learned to play b) Then go back to the pawn shop and follow Marc's advicehttps://twitter.com/legalinspire/status/943209664820506624 …

c) And then, if and when I play enough to be unsatisfied with Guitar B, go to a guitar shop and play everything in the store until I find one I really like. ... and bring the girls with me. :)

I've bought two expensive guitars (and have played neither since moving to the farm :( ) The way I bought them: looked in the cheap section, played until I found the one that felt and sounded great...and realized it was misfiled and wasn't cheap.

HA! This is an EXTREMELY MorlockP way to buy a guitar.

is it? I thought it was the opposite: instead of TRYING to spend money to capture quality (and succeeding), I try to find a bargain...and fail
