Too true... I've a 20 year relationship w/ a corporation, and the history degree (grin) but all that seems to say now, is that I'm old. Shoulda structured things better than being a corporate drone. :shrug:

If you have long, good work record, degree recedes into meaninglessness.

At the beginning, though, having gone to one of the schools that works you hard and actually flunks ppl is a somewhat (*) useful criterion. (* Only slightly better than nothing)

I was programming for a local company during my final year of high school(this was in the age of borland and the 90s) so there was never time to go get a degree after HS.
