no, there are DOZENS of problems: * no good tech for roof flats & edges * lack of good drainage on top surfaces * almost all windows are de facto skylights * huge waste of materials as rectangles cut down to triangles * on and on and on...

It's also hard to expand a sphere. You can expand a cube by putting another cube right next to it or on top of it.

Most domes are full of old dried out weed, hand-me-down furniture, and collections of 1970s science fiction paperbacks, so I think it works
