step 6: down to 1/2" of water...but more is coming in. Put a diamond blade in your circular saw, cut through 4" basement slab.

...except depth of cut of blade is not QUITE 4". So ... step 7: plug in rotary demolition hammer, and break through scored slab

step 8: dig under slab w hands, removing gravel to create hole to put sump pump in. step 9: plug in to test step 10: get blasted in face
