yeah, this is just a simple tubocharger, right? And, contra Jared, there IS turbo lag. Supercharger (off of crank, NOT exhaust) cuts out lag
my understanding is that turbo and super were done in piston aero engines FIRST, made their way to cars later. Jet engine doubles down:
