Just learned I can buy wood shavings for the chicken / goose / turkey coops for $4 / bag at the lumber mill. $1/bag cheaper than farm store!

You can buy barn siding (with - ironically - "ship lap" edges) up to 10" wide anywhere but have to go there for 12" wide (needed for repair)

Hands will build 3-4 run-in sheds this summer. Ordered all framing materials from Lowes (sitting in driveway now), will get siding there
