oh, so you'll enjoy this: hay crop is now maybe 9" tall. Pretty measely. ...except where I grew corn last year. 2x as tall there.

why? I fertilized there last summer. Artificial fertilizer < BM's interest level drops by 50% > ...but very effective !

yes, chemicals = cheap and easy. Totes agree that biomass is best. My plan: use chems to GROW biomass, then till back in. Best both worlds
