That said, I have absolutely no problem with using chem fertilizers. As I understand it, they do a decent job, especially on pasture.

and right now, I don't yet have fields, per se, that are getting succession crops. I've got preexisting pasture.

I am working to create a system of 4 or 5 fields, each around ~500-1,000 ft^2, so that I can use one of the classic 4-field patterns
