2 months ago: re-upped contract, negotiated 1 day in office, 4 days remote per week. An initial hard line, allows some compromise w reality
interesting. Wasn't thinking of it as negotiation, so much as "hey, CPI time. My rates just went up. Take or leave."

Plus they might be happier paying 1.2 to get a 1.25 guy instead of grumblingly accepting a 10% price hike from the 1.0 guy.
