1/ Used the four jaw chuck on the Sherline, dialed runout down to 0.001". Carved one ring from wax. Attached to sprue.

2/ did calculations to mix up investment plaster, mixed it, degassed it (using my pro-grade food vacuum sealer - hah!) poured it.

3/ Now waiting for investment to harden. In 2 hours I'll "burn out" the wax (using the blacksmith forge in my shop).

4/ Once that's done I can melt silver in the same forge, then cast a sample ring. This is a dry-run of the process.
