@BrowningMachine my plan: don't truly "bury" it per se, but place it at ground level (on a 6" bed of gravel), then mound dirt on either side

@BrowningMachine then cover with poly sheeting, then cover with another 4" of dirt. Very very little lateral load, little top load. -
@BrowningMachine Basically it's above ground, but with a blanket of dirt as insulation.
