Injured my shoulder stupidly holding a kettlebell up in front of me: what's the best thing to do about it now? Just go easy on it?
@drethelin in my experience w shoulder injuries (bench press, mil press, etc.): yes.
...for much longer than you might think.

@MorlockP yeah I once fell on roller blades and caught myself with my arm and couldn't use my shoulder for anything for like 8 months -
@drethelin it's insane. Basically it's a virtual socket made up of little muscles that keep things acting like a socket. Tear one...
