I have, literally, about 30 quart jars of stock down in "prepper ally" in basement RT @random_eddie didn't have any homemade turkey stock
@random_eddie and I just threw all the carcasses in (roasting those that weren't already) and onions, then covered w water. I simmer 24 hrs

@random_eddie was surprised by how much stock I got out. I think turkey didn't pack down as much as the chicken -> more water -> more stock -
@MorlockP Thanks! For comparison: 12lb turkey carcass incl. back, neck, and bones from thighs -> ~2 quarts after simmering ~6 hours. - Show replies
