It sounds a bit extreme, yes, but not fully unfeasible. Even families with kids relocate across the US if the head of the family has to change jobs. If more jobs become remote, what's the impediment for families with kids to move where they're treated best?

You could refute by saying: if location is not tied to jobs anymore, then people will stay closer to their extended families so as to get help with the kids. That's my instinct as a Latino, but having lived in the US for 2 years I didn't see many people with that mindset.
