I don't agree (totally) but it sure gives a monarchy a second look.
Monarchy's primary selling point to me is that it properly aligns the populace under it in a purely adversarial relationship with their government. A definite "us" and "them". In democracy, we pretend the government *is* us (or it does), so "we" are to blame for all its fuckups.
