2/ I do think about game-theory, prior commitment, trans-national elites who feel equally (more?) at home with the elites of another country, people with multiple citizenship, etc. I'm an American. This is my country - my ONLY country. I strongly dislike having decisions made

These are people whose core belief is in outsourcing the use of force to professionals. I’m surprised only 52% would leave. Be more worried about the number who would actively embrace the invaders.
