Ever sit next to someone whose jaw pops when they eat but they can't hear it? With all the chewing, slurping, crunching, and swallowing sounds jaw popping on top of it is maddening. apparently I have misophonia

most things don’t bother me but this is really loud and wet and it even patchily makes it through the noise canceling headphones but very quietly. and once the coffee cools down he stops slurping. i really just wanted to post the “mothers, don’t…” riff

It didn't used to bother me but it's gotten worse over the years. Feel like I either have to leave or I'm going to hit someone over something as petty as eating.
