That's not Vulcan, that's Catholic! A story is about people being confronted w decisions and choosing! This wasn't a story, it was a roller coaster ride...wait, no, a people-mover. Getting angry all over again.

No I mean the arc is literally about the main character coming to terms with an emotional life event. Everything else is towards that including any kind of clear coherence of timeline.
