20/ I have a hunch that the price of brick building has actually gone up, in absolute terms, bc of "cost disease". I agree. The only quibble I would have, is there are old Sears "kit homes" that are still standing solid, and quite pretty. We could do it on scale, as Sears did, but for some reason we don't? Maybe people like spec made McMansions? I don't know.
