1/
question for readers of my stuff:
@robkroese and I have reached an agreement [ that's the nice version of "he rescued me from a goat rodeo of my own creation" ] re my 5x-too-long Mammon story.
I'm going to publish it in a month or so, as a stand alone 100 page novella.

4/ so here's the question: what, if anything, should I do to make more than 12 cents/hour off of this 100 page story? some ideas: * kickstarter * limited edition pre-order with different cover (but shipped from Amazon) * signed hard copies (shipped from me) * just Amazon

5/ I am strongly averse to Kickstarter for a project this small and dinky. ...but maybe I'm wrong? One of the next two options sounds reasonable. A modicum of work for me, get my friends and fans something a little different and semi-collectible... win/win. Your thoughts?

I wonder if selling two novellas together has better results? (I presume there was at least a theoretical commerical reason to put the two that kicked off the Laundry files together but I suspect you/rob/
@JASutherlandBks will know better where to find relevant data than I do) -
I was thinking about it yesterday and everything I'd have to suggest (mailing list reward, patreon, loss-leader) don't fit into
@MorlockP 's work or workflow very well. :( - Show replies
