2/ An excerpt of it will be in Rob's collection, but the whole thing will be a ~100 page book. By default, I'll just upload it to Amazon ... but in my experience, short and mid-sized stuff on Amazon sells pretty mediocre-ly. I think "Caterpillar" made me $300 in revenue ...

4/ so here's the question: what, if anything, should I do to make more than 12 cents/hour off of this 100 page story? some ideas: * kickstarter * limited edition pre-order with different cover (but shipped from Amazon) * signed hard copies (shipped from me) * just Amazon

5/ I am strongly averse to Kickstarter for a project this small and dinky. ...but maybe I'm wrong? One of the next two options sounds reasonable. A modicum of work for me, get my friends and fans something a little different and semi-collectible... win/win. Your thoughts?

I suppose my low-key suggestion to make it an antho series won't carry. I can see it tho, that's the anchor for the 2nd book. My story is among the lighter tales for Rob's antho & I'd gladly write a "suburbanites try to raise chickens" for a 2nd one. Other peeps likely similar.

If it goes up on your KDP acct, can it still be listed on the Mammon series Amazon page?
