I just spent 45 minutes * calling up a heating fuel company * speaking to a human * having her email me PDF forms * opening the PDF forms to edit answers in * verifying my checking account #, employer street addr, etc etc etc etc * saving file * emailing it back

you're saying that there's value to it, and it's very bad to structure life in a way that one avoids being forced into contact with them so your preference is that it's good to interact w these people no?
