3/ back in the 90s there was some fever dream discussion of "software agents" that would be dispatched out onto the internet to do research for you / do things on your behalf we got the architecture backwards there - one big server [ google ] does the research ahead of time

4/ ...but the CONCEPT of a smart agent is still a decent one, architecture aside. I don't see "solving the heating fuel subscription problem" as a big enough problem domain to make a viable company, but there are thousands of such insults.
