What's being done without due process, and what would due process consist of?

> what economic sanctions against Russian, Canadian truckers, all sorts of things > consist of I don't have a top-down answer for that, bc I think that good due process evolves organically over time in response to outrage, facts on the ground, etc (like Common Law!) >>>

often things start so small that we don't need due process we did not need due process against Yahoo in 1997 ... but perhaps we DO against Google deplatforming in 2022. Likewise, it's not clear that we needed due process for bank deplatforming in 1955 ... but no we do maybe?

Good answers. In general I'm content to leave "international responses" more-or-less to the discretion of the current political leaders, more-or-less by analogy to warfare.

Yes, I want Congress to declare war (we seem to have forgotten about that part, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ whatever) But also, yes, I want the President to be able to order air strikes whenever he thinks they're needed, because if they're needed they're probably needed now.

congress declaring war is an EXAMPLE of due process! ( RETVRN !) I would be much much more content with "each nation declares a SWIFT boycott only after their legislature votes on it. That's one perfectly great version of due process. It introduces steps, decision points, etc
