I'm constantly lowkey furious that there is almost no tactile/kinesthetic pleasure in interacting with smartphones and other modern computers

This is so absolutely amazingly ungrateful. Millions of people have labored lifetimes to give you a gift from the gods that you buy for a weeks' wage & put in your pocket, and which connects you to infinite libraries...and you add your own innovation on top? No, you piss on them

As is the customer's right. They pay, they get to set the demands. This is the input at the root of product advancement. Also, she has correctly identified an unmet need in the tech. Adding this kind of interaction is my day job & honestly I'm glad to see it even get demanded
