Any chart like the one presented will show some groups that are negative and some that are positive. You could use handedness or shoe size, it will show the same thing. The peak disparity is at about 50yrs. Natives pay about $30k/yr (net) and MENA drain about $8k/yr (net).

Even accounting for descendants, recent immigrant influx would press the chart down, right? So in aggregate a group may appear worse, in which case the same y-axis plotted against time-in-nation may be useful context
