Free speech is a value. The First Amendment is a law, codifying that value with regard to government. The value has supremacy.

Whether this is true or not, it seems from those two tweets that to Jeff Jarvis it is only about govt action. Is he wrong? Maybe. But nothing screenshotted herein suggests his views have evolved at all.
Remember malls, and how Democrats fought hard to declare them public spaces so political workers and cultists couldn't be barred from proselytizing there?
