Problem is that LFLs show up predominantly in high-income communities where people already have ample access to books. Trad. library are located by users' needs and by number of people using them. Not a slight on LFLs, just a statement that trad. libraries are still necessary.

I don't think anyone said they were going to replace libraries. It's just a nice way for people to trade books where I live.

These are great! I've always liked book-giveaway situations like hostels/pensions when traveling. The Little Library movement provides an easily found spot for books, filled with whatever the owner wants. Hm, how much for bulk copies of Powers of the Earth...
