Youtube has started showing me these tours of back alley Pakistani (?) "factories" and i find them absolutely amazing, both for how much they can accomplish in dirt floored hovels...and how insanely inefficient it is, moving things manually over & overhttps://youtu.be/2T-FkFcBh9w

>moving things manually I think a lot of manufacturing is like this, even in automated production lines. Parts arrive in a bin, go through a machine that does one step, and get deposited in a bin - all automatically. Then the output bin gets moved, manually, to the next step.

maybe, but in automated 1st world manufacturing, parts fall into a bin, that bin is wheeled to location #2 and it is tipped into a hopper, and then the hopper vibrates and feeds one part at a time to the machine also, hell, things fall INTO A HOPPER >>>
