Why are there not yet consumer-grade tanks sold in the US commonly? I feel like it would be popular. I don't mean an SUV. I mean like a tracked vehicle with like one inch steel. Preferably with main gun. Might be regulatory issues here but I feel like people just aren't trying.

Main issue I can see is they chew up roads something fierce. Also even $200K price tag probably wouldn’t recoup the research and development costs.

Okay, so...we're like one to two steps from figuring out what the manufacture cost of a Killdozer is and trying to determine what laws would apply to manufacturing and selling this as a consumer vehicle.
